ATLANTA PRIDE RUN & WALK 5K

The Atlanta Pride Run returns on June 4, 2023 both in-person and virtual! 
The Atlanta Pride Run is a charity 5K walk and run dedicated to uniting the community to raise awareness and funds for those impacted by HIV. This event is for every one of every ability and a great time to show support for the LGBTQIA+ community. And yes, we are a Peachtree Qualifier race!
MISSION
The Pride Run creates beauty out of tragedy by donating all proceeds to local HIV charities like AID Atlanta, Bridge of Light, and Lost + Found Youth to raise awareness and support for the ongoing struggle for equality. Join us for a run that celebrates the strength, perseverance, and love of the LGBTQIA+ Community.
The Atlanta Pride Run was created out of necessity. Our founding members were tired of losing people they love from HIV and no one was doing enough about it.

ENTRY & REGISTRATION
*Please note that in-person online registration will close on June 3, however you can still continue to register for the Virtual Atlanta Pride Run online.
*Any racers virtually participating, please note you will not have to attend packet pick-up, all of your race items will be mailed to the address you entered upon registration.
BIB PICKUP INFO:
Early Packet Pickup: Save time & get some extra sleep race morning by coming out to early packet pickup.
Date: June 2 (5p - 9p), June 3 (11a - 3p)
Location: Lululemon, 1168 Howell Mill Road, Atlanta, GA 30318
Race Morning: Check-in will open promptly at 7:00 AM so arrive sooner than later to get your race packets. Race will start promptly at 8:00 AM.

FUNDRAISING
Raise $250 (or more!) to provide critical funding for research, care and advocacy so that we lose less of the people we love to this terrible disease. Together we WILL end HIV. You can do it and we're here to help!

Team Fundraising: We are all stronger together, so grab your friends and family and register as a team! The top fundraising team will receive a prize, as well as bragging rights!
Individual Fundraising: Participants that fundraise $250 or more will receive a special prizes including water bottles, hats, and backpacks.
Top fundraising individual will receive a prize, as well as bragging rights!
VIRTUAL RUNNING
Can't make it out to the event site on race day? Still want to participate or support the cause?
Run when & where you want, just submit your time by June 4. We'll ship out virtual packages the Monday after the event date! *Shipping available for continental US only.

Step 1- Get excited, grab some friends and buddies to join you! Sign up and register for the Atlanta Pride Run Virtual 5K!
Step 2- Download your Custom Digital Bib! Hydrate, grab your buddy (or not) and get ready to get moving!
Step 3- Get out there and run or walk! You can run at the park, your favorite route in your neighborhood; anywhere you want.
Step 4- HAVE FUN! Share your distance, a selfie, or a picture along your race route and use the hashtag #AtlantaPrideRun #WeSeeYOU
Step 5- Submit your results directly on https://raceroster.com/
You can submit your race time HERE on the Virtual Results page anytime from May 1 - June 4.
Step 6- View your Virtual Results HERE Monday after the Event Date.
PARKING & TRANSIT
Paid parking is available at the Botanical Gardens/Piedmont Park deck. Street parking is also available in the surrounding neighborhoods; please be considerate! The start/finish line is located across from the Greystone. Be sure to bring water and wear your favorite Pride gear!
Public transit and ride sharing is strongly encouraged. Piedmont Park is approximately 1.2 miles from the Arts Center or Midtown MARTA rail stations on the Red/Gold lines.

ARE PETS AND/OR STROLLERS ALLOWED?
Runners and walkers are welcome to bring their little companions to participate. However, for everyone's safety, anyone participating with strollers or their pet, please avoid starting in the front to prevent moving hazard, and all pets must be on a leash.
