Visitor/Short-term Parking (2024)

Often called visitor parking,short-term parking locationsare located throughoutourcampus. You canpurchase a daily pass, pay hourly using theParkMobileapp or pay on-location at a pay station.

Daily Parking

Temporary parking is available in select lots for dailyincrements. Daily parking can be purchased directly via the CU Boulderonline services portal. Log in using your IdentiKey to see affiliate lot options and rates. Daily permits are not refundable.Please check the Facilities Management website for construction updates.

  • Faculty and Staffcan purchase permits up to30 days in advance.
  • Studentscan purchase permits up toeight days in advance.
  • Non-affiliatescan purchase permits up toeight days in advance.

Parking Meters & Pay-to-Park

Visitors to campus may park in hourlypay-to-park lots located throughout campus (including the pay-to-park areas in Euclid Parking Garage and Folsom Parking Garage/First Level.)

Availability is dependent upon the time of day and whether CU Boulder is hosting a large event, or construction impacts occur. Please check the Facilities Management website forconstruction updates. Campus pay-to-park lot locations are included on theCU Boulder campus interactive map.

ParkMobile

ParkMobile allows you to pay for parking in short-term parking areas by phone or smartphone app. To begin using this service, create your account withParkMobiletoday. Parking Servicesemails notifications when a ParkMobile pay lot is closed forevent or constructionimpacts. Please verify that you've entered your correct email address while setting up your ParkMobile account.

Hourly Rates

Hourly Surface Lots

Hourly Pay-to-park Lots

  • The hourly rate is $2 per hour payable from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday - Saturday; from7 p.m. through 7 a.m. weeknights and all day Sunday the parking rate is $1.00 per hour. (see below for Euclid and Folsom Parking Garage rates)
  • Lot 309 (the circle drive in front of Regent Administrative Center) has a one (1)hour maximum parking limit.
  • Machines accept credit cards and in some locations, coin.
  • Please report machine problems to us at 303-735-PARK (7275), and please be aware that parking at a malfunctioning meter is a campus parking violation.

Hourly AccessibilitySpaces

Hourly ADA spaces are for persons with disabilities. A state-issued disability license plate or placard must be displayed. The rate is $2 per hour Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7p.m.; from 7 p.m. through 7 a.m weeknights and all day Sunday the parking rate is $1 per hour. In designated locations, use Parkmobile to make payment.

Euclid Parking Garage

  • Monday - Saturday (7 a.m.-7 p.m.) the EPG parking rate is $2 per hour up to three hours; after three hours the rate is $4 per hour.
  • On weeknights and all day Sunday (7 p.m. - 7 a.m.)the parking rate is $1 per hour.
  • EPG pay stations accept payment by credit card, coin and ParkMobile (Zone 63205). EPG is subject to special event parking arrangements.

Open 24/7, Euclid Parking Garage (EPG) is located between Broadway and 18th Street (east of the UMC) and is a "Pay by Plate" pay station lot. You must have your license plate number available to pay at any of the pay stations located at each pedestrian exit. (Hint: Take a photo of your vehicle's license plate on your cellphone and you'll always have it available for Pay by Plate parking payment.)

Folsom Parking Garage

  • Monday - Saturday (7 a.m.-7 p.m.) the FPG rate is $2 per hour.
  • On weeknights and all day Sunday (7 p.m. - 7 a.m.)the parking rate is $1 per hour.
  • FPG pay stations accept payment by credit card, coin andParkMobile(Zone 63391). This parking garage is subject to special event parking arrangements. View theFolsom Parking Garage location. map[1].

Open 24/7, Folsom Parking Garage is located off Stadium Drive/Folsom Street and offers "Pay by Plate" pay station visitor parking on the north side of the entry-level (P1)*. You must have your license plate number available to pay at any of the pay stations located at each pedestrian exit.(Hint: Take a photo of your vehicle's license plate on your cellphone and you'll always have it available for Pay by Plate parking payment.)

*Long-term permit parkingis located on thesouth side of level P1and all of levels P2 and P3.You must have lot 391 parking permit to park in these areas.
